A Little About Me:
Name: Pix
Age: 22
Role Playing Experiance: I've been roleplaying online for several years now. I've played on WOW and loads of yahoo groups before slowly graduating to pro-boards
Interests
My favourite Tamora Pierce series has to be the protector of the small, but I also love Lioness and Wild Magic books. I just love TP as an Author and have re-read all her books stupid amounts!
Character Driven:
Name: Tya Lanai of Legann
Age: 17
Description: Tya is 5'6 with a slender build and gentle curves. Long light-brown hair with copper highlights falls down her back in soft waves. Green-blue eyes watch carefully from beneath her messy bangs; mischievous and sparkling from within. She walks with an acrobats lithe easy movements. A tattoo on the inside of her left wrist bears the words 'Easy to Forget'. Her right forearm from wrist to elbow is a solid thick black line of ink. On the third finger of her left hand she wears a simple ring.
Clothing: Dressed in a plain dove-grey mans shirt under a forest green knee-length tunic. She wears a pair of comfortable ankle-length boots. Slung casually around her hips is a wide black belt.
Family: Her grand-father rules over Port Legann. Her father is a younger, titless son and therefore Tya has set out to make her own destiny. Following in the footsteps of the great lady knights. Tya hopes that she'll pass her ordeal come mid-winter and beable to take up her very own distaff. She gets on well with her two sisters and her quiet Mother. Her parents do not wholly approve her decision to become a Knight but they made no attempt to stand in her way. Tya is headstrong and goes after the things she wants.
History: Tya had a fairly typical upbringing of a young noble lady. But from a young age, hearing that girls could be knights, Tya knew that her heart would lead her there. Her Grandfather was Lord of Port Legann during the Immortals Attack and was also Knight-Master to Prince Roald. A well respected man in the kingdom. Tya led a comfortable life and began her page training like any boy at the age of 8.
Gift: 0
Skills: Tya has received all of her knightly training to date and is currently a squire. However she is most renowned for her hand to hand combat. Having had more Shang training than most.
Attributes: Perhaps more of a weakness than an attribute, but Tya has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to use it. Something which has gotten her into too many fights of honour than she can count. Having matured during her final year as a Squire, she is less out spoken but is unlikely to back down from a verbal challenge.
Personal Weakness: Tends to walk into fights, or annoy people without realising it. She gets easily carried away with conversations.
Sample Post: Tya rested her hands on the window ledge and leant out. She could smell the fresh salty air, rising up over the sea. The Legann flag snapped proudly in the breeze. She couldn't help but smile. It was good to be home. Her knight-master had decided to call into Port Legann on their journey back to Corus. And as much as she loved the bustle of the city and the familiarity of the Royal Palace, it was definatly good to be home.
